We are a small show kennel based in Chorley, Lancashire and have been campaigning our dogs from 2005 at both Open and Championship Show level.
The start of our journey came in 1992 when we owned and loved Bull Terriers. We lost our last one in 2018.
In 2000 we acquired our first Neapolitan Mastiff and called her Zena. She was a wonderful companion and was so gentle with the young children. We lost Zena to old age in 2010 which considering she was epileptic was a great age for such a large breed dog.
We picked up our first bulldog in May 2005 from Telford and called her Molly. Her pedigree name was Honeysuckle Sky. Molly was the start of my love for showing. At the age of six months, we decided to try and see how Molly fared in the show ring. Having never shown a bulldog before it was a skill that we both had to learn. Off to ring class we went. I don't know who was worst, my attempts at trying to stand Molly or Molly's total lack of enthusiasms. It was a skill we both learned from others, showing and guiding us in the right direction.
My affix MISSDAISIES was granted by the Kennel Club in November 2005. (My love of daisies and the fact that I drove like Miss Daisy in the film, is where the name came from).
We always yearned for another Mastino. But working and the children made us wait for the right time. The long wait ended in 2015 when we purchased our first show mastino from Rayvonley Kennels. Her name was Luna or Luni Luna to her friends. Luna did extremely well in the show ring and was Best Puppy in Breed at Crufts 2016. Luna was soon followed by her partner in crime Aragon who was purchase from Zhanna at Vita Shamo Kennels in Russia. Aragon didnt take to the show ring but sure made up for it in personality.
The prodigy of Aragon and Luna will be campaigned in the near future.
Please call back soon for updates.
